Site of the old mill
Located in the area surrounding La Fuente, it was the nerve center of Mojácar. At one time, there were even three shops. There are records of two mills, one old one that worked with leather belts and harnessed the power of water to grind grain. Later, in the 1960s, an electric mill was put into operation. It ground wheat, barley, and corn.
